Preachers in the Philippines Need mentors!

One preacher recently said to me, "Pastor, I don't know of anyone anywhere in the Philippines who is doing what you are doing with us!  It's very needed adn you should think about doing this group with other preachers as well."  I told him let's pray to that end.

One week later I met up with one of my seminarians who graduated in 2014.  We came together over coffee and I encouraged him to meet with me to help strengthen our skills in preaching. 

​I explained to him we all need mutual encouragement in order to improve in our calling to preach and proclaim God's whole truth.  It didn't take much more than this for us to make plans to regularly meet.  I call our group time as preachers "Expository Enrichment"! 

Please pray for me as I seek to pour all I can into the lives of these faithful preachers who preach in places I never can and proclaim the truth among people that I never will.  Yet, they are answering a calling much like mine and I can give to them the encouragement they need to carry on. 

It would be a shame if they gave up because nobody cared enough to stand with them in their ministry.  I see myself as their "Barnabas" in their ministry of preaching!  Thanks for praying and pray that others will join our groups.
