I love the internet for various reasons, but in particular I love it for the "Cross-Pollinating" encouragement that can take place through blog posts. Here is an example of that. In looking around at The Gospel Coalition (TGC) website and blog posts I came across Jared Wilson's post on 21 thoughts on preaching (click on the picture below).

For me these kinds of thought-provoking, stimulating and inspirational posts certainly do help me in developing and becoming the servant of God He wants to mould me into. Thus, I pass this on to you the reader as a fellow learner and pray the Lord will bless you through Pastor Wilson's thoughts on preaching...Blessings in Christ.

This is a very good blog post (click the picture below) from one of "The Cripplegate" guys on a movie we intend to watch someday in the future when we can get at it. It's called "Freedom" and it stars a young man named Jubilant Sykes who has an amazing voice. We first heard him sing at the Shepherds' Conference at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA and I think it was 2007 or 2008.

Anyway, it's good to know that the Lord is using him and that this message of the gospel is going out through the story of slaves and slave ship owners, like John Newton who was brought to salvation in Christ, is going forth in film and song still!
